Content Creator

Who we are:
At ORCA, we believe nature can heal the human condition. We use plants and natural materials in their rawest forms to re/connect humans with earth.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a contract content creator who can bring our mission to life through engaging content. The ideal candidate is highly creative, self-motivated, and interested in a DTC small business. They have the ability to further conceptualize an idea, storyboard the creative, and produce content across various channels that map back to ORCA’s brand pillars and marketing initiatives.

What this role entails:

• Creative direction: Collaborate closely with the Brand Director to develop compelling creative briefs and oversee creative direction
• Content creation and editing: Ability to create TikTok and Instagram content (still photos and video) + edit videos
• Brand consistency: maintain consistency in visuals and brand messaging across channels
• Project management: self-manage multiple projects simultaneously, producing efficiently and on schedule.

Desired skills: 

• Natural storyteller (written & verbal)
• In-depth knowledge of TikTok & Instagram
• Basic video editing skills (edited for social)
• Love for plants, rock, and wood

Location: 

• Based in Los Angeles
• Occasional office visits. We are located in Highland Park.
• Onsite/field time and some travel required

Compensation: 

• This is a contract position with estimated 10-15 hours/week
• Reimbursement for mileage
