Organic pattern

Organic pattern

No two pavers are quite alike; rather, each retains its own lineage. A pattern of instinct rather than order, a surface reminiscent of the paths most taken.
Permeable surfaces

Permeable surfaces

When sand set, our pavers are inherently permeable allowing rainwater to pass through to the earth beneath it to replenish the land's natural aquifers. This allows water and oxygen to reach roots, supports trees and plantlife, and reduces heat island effect.
Beauty with age

Beauty with age

ORCA pavers are intended to age beautifully with the inevitable changes of a garden. We honor earth’s natural movements and the weathering of time, and see these materials as a part of this process.
Made locally

Made locally

Locally made in Califorania and Oregon. Our mission is to source materials with a light footprint and a substantial story.

FAQ

Can ORCA clay pavers be used for driveways?

Our pavers are rated for pedestrian and patio use. For driveway-grade applications, contact our studio for a paver consultation at hello@orcaliving.com.

Are ORCA pavers permeable?

Yes. When sand-set over a compacted gravel sub-base, ORCA clay pavers are inherently permeable. Water passes through the joints and infiltrates the soil below, replenishing natural aquifers, supporting plant root health, and reducing stormwater runoff, and making them a sustainable alternative to poured concrete.

What are ORCA pavers made from?

ORCA clay pavers are made from locally sourced California clay and recycled aggregate materials. They are pressed and fired at high temperatures to create a dense, durable surface. By sourcing materials close to the manufacturing site, ORCA reduces the carbon footprint associated with transportation.
