Made by hand
Each planter begins with a clay body enriched with grog for strength and stability then kneaded by hand. The clay is shaped into large slabs, which are then joined into a singular form and etched by hand to evoke geological matter imprinted upon by centuries of climactic shifts. The vessel undergoes a single high-temperature firing of over a 65 hour cycle and is left unglazed.

The Alluvium Planters are generously proportioned and available in 25 and 15 gallon sizes, fitting a 24" box tree and 15 gallon plant.
